Memory: Denise became my roommate in my second year at Virginia Tech. She was a tiny (under 5') hippie flower child who enrolled in the Forestry program thinking it was an easy major. She was really bummed out that they expected her to learn scientific tree names and other hard stuff; she thought of forestry as hugging trees and forest animals.
